San Diego area photographer who is happy to travel
It runs in the family, well kinda…
As a little kid, in the days before cell phone pics, I was given a little camera and my parents paid to get those images developed. I loved looking at all of these photographs my grandpa Joe took. The black and white ones with the white edges from back in the day. My dad always had the camera out and I feel so fortunate that they indulged me as a child. I was always the one saying “let’s take a pic” and now it’s my job!!!
Today I am a children’s photographer, wife and mother.
I married my high school sweetheart and motherhood didn’t come easily to me. After infertility treatments we adopted our daughter in 2012 and son in 2016. This gave me a sense of appreciation for motherhood I don’t think I would have had without the hard road. It also made me more passionate than ever about the need to photograph each phase of life with our children. Be in those images as those little toes don’t stay tiny for long.
I feel strongly about volunteering and love that I can give back through my time and photography. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Bundle Blessings first dinner auction and am currently working with The Glama Project as one of their photographers as well as other projects along the way. It has connected me with some wonderful people doing amazing things throughout the community.
